The Fine Art of Lynda Irene Moffatt
My paintings are inspired by the love I have for nature and wildlife.
Including the incredible bird migration that passes through our southern home area here in Ontario up to and including our adventures to Algonquin Park and it's surrounding area.
Traditionally trained in oils, I like to keep up with techniques and incorporate contemporary design, colour and textures into my paintings.
With keen observations, I connect you, the viewer, to my devotion for painting wildlife on canvas.
My focus is on capturing their story, the texture, the flora, and the use of colour to showcase our diverse province.
This allows me to study my subjects more thoroughly by working in series.
Documenting my research with my own photos and videos, as well as keeping records on my blog.
The images below are detailed, as is the story of where they inspired me. Please click on them for more information.
If you need more information on a painting, please contact me at any time. I will get back to you within 24 hours.
