The Fine Art of Lynda Irene Moffatt
Traditionally, I am an oil painter with a love of nature, wildlife, and the migration of birds through our area.
My paintings are inspired by the Old Masters, though I also experiment with new techniques and mediums in acrylics
to depict a stylized realism of my subjects' habitats and personalities.
With keen observations, I connect you, the viewer, to my passion for capturing wildlife on canvas.
Their story unfolds in front of you thanks to personal encounters with my subjects!
My focus is on capturing their story, the texture, the flora, and the use of colour to showcase our diverse province.
This allows me to study my subjects more thoroughly by working in series. Documenting with my own photos and videos, as well as keeping records on my blog.
The images below are detailed, as is the story of where they inspired me. Please click on them for more information.
If you need more information on a painting, please contact me at any time. I will get back to you within 24 hours.
