As the Spring and Fall Bird Migrations take place, it amazes me how we have seen this species
throughout the Carolinian Forest here in South-Western Ontario as well we have seen them in
The Algonquin Highlands.
This particular painting was inspired by a pleasant encounter with such as we
were walking down one of our favourite trails here in Southern-Western Ontario.
We came across an area that seemed to be filled with brids eating as they migrated through.
This little one, stopped to take a break and low and behold it was right in front of me.
How excited I was to have this chance to see him close up.
When I looked back at the pictures we took, I new this one needed
to be painted and added to the Spring Bird Migration Series!
I absolutely, love seeing and painting these amazing creatures! :)
Sharing the story that accompanies each painting lends to authenticity of ethics,
