Hello and welcome to my Art Gallery!
This is where you'll find paintings I've painted with passion to document what has touched my soul!
We are delighted to include paintings of warblers, kinglets, swallows, orioles, waxwings, woodpeckers, and other bird migrations seen within this part of the Carolinian Forest and the Marshes throughout each Spring and Fall as we travel from the most Southern shores of this province, Kingsville/Leamington, Ontario. Winter and summer species such as swans, numorus ducks, and the like are included.
We include paintings of Moose, Bear, Loons, Fox, Martins, Eagles, Owls, Red Squirrels, and other wildlife that live in Algonquin Park's Deciduous and Boreal forests.
Each painting study is inspired by an animal that I have seen, spent time with, and observed in action. You'll notice that I include the landscape and flora within almost every painting. The compositions are created on-site, and the sketching/painting process begins. Some paintings are completed on the spot, whereas larger, more detailed oil paintings are begun in the field and completed in the studio.
Each animal sighting has a unique story to tell, and it's an honour to be able to share them with you. There are so many different areas that can help you grow as an artist. These challenges motivate me to reflect on and raise awareness about this topic.
This, I suppose, is why I do what I do.
My hope is that you will become aware of them and their story. Enjoy! :)
