I am delighted you are here whether to look around, purchase an original painting or gift some merchandise to a loved one. 

You will find my love of nature and wildlife has become my true focus in my art.

All of my paintings have been painted with passion to document what has touched my soul while observing directly!

I am delighted to include paintings from birding excursions of songbirds that migrate through our area each spring and fall. Some lifers seen and painted are warblers, kinglets, swallows, orioles, waxwings, woodpeckers, and many other beautiful birds seen within this part of the Carolinian Forest and the Marshes by the lakes. Each year I venture out to see and learn more about these incredible tiny beauties. 

From the most Southern shores of this province, Kingsville/Leamington, Ontario. Winter and summer species such as swans, ducks, and the like are included in my research and paintings.

My ventures go up to Algonquin Park enjoying many lakes, deciduous and boreal forests wildlife that call this their home. Sightings, and paintings include Moose, Bear, Loons, Fox, Martins, Eagles, Owls, Red Squirrels, and others that live in this glorious area.

Each painting study is inspired by an animal that I have seen in person, spent time with, and observed respectfully. You'll notice I include some of the landscape and flora within almost every painting. The compositions are created on-site, and the sketching/painting process begins. Some paintings are completed on the spot, en plein air, whereas larger, more detailed oil paintings are started in the field and completed in the studio. Either way many, many hours of dedicated painting goes into each painting.

Every animal sighting has a unique story to tell, and it's an honour to be able to share them with you. There are so many different areas to paint here in ontario and they present wonderful opportunities as an artist. These challenges motivate me to express what I see in nature and bring it back to you represented in my paintings. Raising awareness through this form of conversation their story moves forward with you.
